So what would happen if Lapis was the tamer, and Faith was his digimon partner?

Firstly Lapis is a 20 year old man who was gifted with a courage shard after he stole Babamon's "precious treasure". His father was abusive and controlling to the point where child services took him and his two brothers away and separated them into different foster homes. Lapis' current foster family didn't know how to handle the destructive behaviour that Lapis learned from his previous home so they keep locking him out. Having no real home to go to, Lapis joined a gang and started living in the digital world. Like some weird hobo. Currently Lapis is a construction worker to pay for his weekly groceries. His only chance at excitement is when he wrestles with digimon. 

In training: Shejiumon
She jiu is known as snake wine en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_wi… . a Type of folk medicine in China where a venomous snake is soaked in herbs and alcohol. The distilled venom is said to have restorative properties. Shejiumon are valued by magic practicing digimon such as wizardmon and babamon as potion ingredients. This particular one managed to strike a deal with Babamon: take her on as an apprentice and teach her the secrets to healing salves and she would gladly sit and meditate in a bottle for the weeks needed to prepare the healing tonic. Shejiumon is kind and caring, always picturing her actions would help the greater good. She was sealed in a bottle when some hooligan broke into Babamon's medicine cabinet and kidnapped her. 
Attack:
Viper's kiss: Bites the opponent with her fangs. The poison is fast acting and causes the opponent to feel like their nerves are being set on fire.

 Rookie: Lindimon
Lindi is the old english word for snake. Lapis somtimes refers to his partner as Lindismon- with an extra s, and this always annoys her. This digimon is polite and loyal to her partner despite his rude behaviour to her. Gifted with a silver tongue, this peaceful digimon can always talk their way though a tough situation given enough time. Worst comes to worst, they have a tough armour to protect them as long as they hide their head in their own coils. Lapis always gets bored when Lindimon tries to settle things peacefully, and would much prefer to grab his partner and start swinging her like a sword. 
Attacks:
Iron Maiden: Coils around her enemies to immobilize them. The scales on their back detach from the main armour and pierces the enemies between her body. 
Ribbon dance: It dances to calm down and entrance her enemies. Once they are deep in a trance, they will lunge and slash at them with it's collared blade.
