OK so this page got a little more technical since we're seeing a few things. Pannel 2 and 3 I played around with silhouettes- everyone is pretty much blinded unless they had thermal vision, so Lapis took the time to double digivolve into his ultimate stage. From far away he still looks like he's in his rookie stage, but his form is more defined as he charges closer to Koraymon.
Speaking of Koraymon, I didn't have a reference of the back of Koraymon's head haha. Strings and I wanted to keep that angle though to show that he's able to clear the fog pretty soon. I'm glad since that was a LOT of purple to work with. So she said she'll fill in panel 4 for me. I also had to block in where the attack should hit because I found an interesting tutorial online that creates an impression of an invisible barrier, with a small tweaks it could look like a sonic boom.
photshoptut.blogspot.ca/2013/0… here it is for the record.
It didn't turn out too well on my end because of the white background, so I left it there to let strings attempt after she fills in the background.
I will never get tired of drawing Lapis with a cocky expression on his face.
